Southwest Club Works provides golf club refurbishment and customisation services including, but not limited to, sanding, polishing, brushing, stripping, sandblasting, paint filling, stamping, torch colouring, and regripping.
By submitting equipment for refurbishment, requesting services, or otherwise instructing Southwest Club Works to undertake work, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
All golf clubs and equipment are accepted, stored, transported, and worked on entirely at the owner’s risk.
Southwest Club Works accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or deterioration of equipment except where required by law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring clubs are packaged appropriately when shipped and insured where necessary.
Refurbishment involves mechanical and chemical processes including sanding, polishing, stripping, blasting, and heating of metal surfaces.
These processes may alter the appearance, weight distribution, surface structure, or integrity of the club.
The customer acknowledges that refurbishment inherently involves risk to the equipment and accepts that such risks are part of the service being requested.
All refurbishment work performed by Southwest Club Works constitutes permanent and irreversible modification of the golf club.
Once refurbishment has commenced, the original finish or condition of the club cannot be restored.
Customers accept full responsibility for the decision to proceed with permanent modification of their equipment.
Where chrome, coatings, or finishes are removed, the underlying material may be raw carbon steel.
Raw steel will naturally oxidise, rust, or develop patina over time. This is a natural property of the material and not a defect.
Customers accept full responsibility for maintenance and care of raw finishes following refurbishment.
Southwest Club Works accepts no responsibility for corrosion, oxidation, colour changes, or finish degradation occurring after completion of the work.
All work is performed manually and finishes are created by hand.

Golf clubs submitted for refurbishment are often previously used and may contain:
Southwest Club Works does not inspect clubs for structural integrity and accepts no responsibility for failure of the club during or after refurbishment due to pre-existing defects.
Refurbishment services are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to repair structural integrity.
Southwest Club Works accepts no liability for:
whether occurring immediately after refurbishment or at any future time.
The long-term structural condition and performance of the club remain solely the responsibility of the owner.
Face blasting, cleaning, or groove treatment is performed for cosmetic or cleaning purposes only.
Southwest Club Works makes no representation or guarantee regarding:
Ensuring equipment compliance with competition rules is the responsibility of the customer.
Where chrome or coatings require specialist stripping, clubs may be sent to external providers.
Southwest Club Works is not responsible for:
Customers are responsible for the safe packaging and shipment of clubs to Southwest Club Works.
Southwest Club Works is not liable for:
Customers are advised to use insured shipping where appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the liability of Southwest Club Works for any claim relating to services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
Southwest Club Works shall not be liable for:

Delays may occur due to workload, supplier lead times, stripping processes, or shipping conditions.
